At this year’s Monaco Yacht Show, Alewijnse Marine Systems will be promoting its new service and refit subsidiary in the Mediterranean superyacht hub of La Ciotat. Located within Chantiers Naval the new facility, fully equipped with tools and materials, acts as a base for delivering both warranty services for existing customers and full repair and refit packages for all types of electrical systems.
From La Ciotat Alewijnse provides a 24/7 service that offers onboard technical assistance for trouble-shooting and maintenance from Barcelona in the west to Genoa in the east. Major works are undertaken at Chantiers Naval in La Ciotat. If service is required in the Italian Riviera area, we also work in close cooperation with Amico Shipyards in Genoa. The Alewijnse service delivers rapid analysis and diagnosis of system issues, fast turnaround times and face-to-face coordination with partners in the yard. A core team is permanently based at Chantiers Naval for routine assignments, with the option of drawing on the full capabilities of the Alewijnse group for larger projects.
Meet the experts
Visitors to the Alewijnse stand at QAB14 (Holland Tent) will be able to discuss their service and refit requirements with Service Manager Marcel van Loon and Service Engineer Marcel Pálimaru. Also from Alewijnse at MYS will be Kees van Doorn (Business Development Manager), Dick Breure (Sales Manager) and Marianne Hendriks (Sales Coordinator), there to discuss general electrical system integration issues, the latest technologies and recent projects.
Lantic Entertainment Suite: Faster, smarter, easier to install
The Alewijnse stand will be demonstrating the current Suite 2.10 software from Lantic Entertainment Systems, while on the dedicated Lantic Entertainment System stand (stand QP56) it will be possible to have a sneak preview of Suite 3, coming in the summer of 2016. This will be the latest iteration of the advanced software that lies at the heart of the industry’s most advanced integrated AV/IT/control networks. It delivers a new level of high-speed, intelligent control that anticipates the users’ wishes based on rules-based programming and a control interface that makes everyone an expert within moments. Its ability to integrate with a wide range of third-party hardware leaves the builder and owner free to choose the equipment manufacturers they prefer, while advanced, compact components make it even easier to install and its modular design ensures that hardware upgrades are quicker and simpler than ever.
